My comment in Wall Street Journal Blog.

From my experience the over 50 (pregnancy not an issue) in medical waiting rooms tend to be more than 75% women. (I exclude older women who bring children there). Could ti be that women use medical services more so the cost for women is higher? My health insurer sends me an annual review of my total medical service costs. They know my age and gender. The accounting tools to determine this are there.
